(Textile to Textile Recycling)

Tex2Tex® is a high capacity, cost-competitive, and low-impact polyester textile-to-textile recycling technology. Tex2Tex® has 50,000T/yr+ fiber production capacity and is highly cost-competitive compared to other branded fibers. Tex2Tex® is also part of a zero-waste production system, where all production waste from fiber, yarn and fabric manufacturing is recycled back into the Tex2Tex® fibers.

Tex2Tex® as an important solution as the textile industry needs to move away from single-use plastics such as PET bottles in the circular economy. PET bottles recycled into textile products are generally considered ‘downcycled’. Tex2Tex® is also a solution in response to the forthcoming bottle shortage of 10 million metric tons/year by 2025 as the beverage and fashion industry start competing for this limited feedstock.
