iTextiles® has been working extensively to promote innovation in textile industry of Pakistan to bring a shift in textile products from basic commodity to value added performance textiles. To a greater extent we can say this shift is evident now but there is still a long way to go. We at iTextiles® believe this change must be emphasized in our academics too.

Therefore, taking another step to bridge this gap between Industry and Academia, iTextiles® participated as the Platinum sponsor at the 5th International Textile Conference at NED university. During the session Mr. Adeel Anwar and Mr. Kashif Ali enlightened the audience (students and industrial representatives) about the Global Crisis such as Global Warming, Global Recession and Energy Crisis, and shift in consumers demand for Performance Textiles due to these crises.
